Monte de Piedad was established in August of 1980. From the outset, Monte de Piedad was destined to become a pawn business different from any other ..destined to become San Diego's only Customer Friendly Pawn Shop.

We're viewed as a neighborhood business that is truly here to help its neighbors ..both in San Ysidro and on the other side of the border in Tijuana, Mexico ... and now also in San Diego County.
